Frequently Asked Questions
Orders
How long does it take to make a LadyLux Ring?
All of our rings are handcrafted and made to order. Orders take approximately 21-28 days from purchase to delivery. If you have a specific timeline in mind, simply let us know in advance so we can work to accommodate your request.
I need my order urgently, can I request a fast-tracked service?
Depending on the item, we may facilitate an urgent order. However we cannot guarantee it, it may not be a result of a manufacturing constraint but a logistical one if any component required needs to be shipped from overseas or interstate. Please call +61470333070 if it is urgent as we have managed to make miracles happen in a 48-hour time frame in the past. This will be assessed on an individual basis and if it can done, we will try our absolutely hardest.
Can I provide my own centre stone?
Unfortunately no, we do not provide ‘setting only’ pricing or services for diamonds we have not selected on your behalf.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes, in most circumstances we are able to create custom orders. Occasionally we are presented with designs that do not fit our values, i.e. if the design will not structurally sustain everyday wear and tear, we will not manufacture it as our reputation is paramount. If you are interested in a custom design, please contact us for assistance or text through your design to +61 470 333 070.
Can I change my order details after it has been placed?
This totally depends on what point in the process the ring is in when these changes are being requested. Once the diamond has been selected, it will need to be used. As for the design, if the ring hasn’t begun, we can try to accommodate changes.
What payment methods do you accept?
Currently we are accepting bank transfers as it is the most cost-effective method for our clients as it does not incur any further surcharges.
Can I place a phone order?
Yes, in fact, many orders are confirmed via text as it is the most discreet method of arranging your partners beautiful ring without them knowing about it.
The product I would like to order is no longer available. Is there any way to still purchase?
This mainly applies to pink diamond purchases. Pink diamonds are extremely rare, it may not be possible to find the exact diamond again.
Sizing
How do I know my ring size?
If you don’t know your ring size, we are happy to send you a complimentary at home ring sizer. Alternatively we can email you a print out that allows you to match the size of an existing ring that fits. Please contact us so we may assist you for a perfect fit.
How do I resize my ring?
We offer one complimentary resizing for engagement rings and non-eternity set rings. Any additional resizing will be subject to a charge.
For those who reside in Sydney, we welcome you to drop off the ring during business hours to our North Strathfield location.
Eternity set engagement rings and bands are not recommended for resizing to maintain the integrity of the ring. It is imperative to get the correct size prior manufacturing commencing. Please contact customer service for a ring sizer to assure the perfect fit.
Resizing Service (Engagement Rings)
A careful adjustment to your engagement ring ensures that it fits perfectly and with the greatest of comfort. Our master jewellers apply their technical expertise to finely adjust your engagement ring.
Your engagement ring should fit snug but comfortably. It should slide on easily, but you should have to pull a little to get it off. If your ring is uncomfortably tight or it slips off with no resistance at all, your ring should be sized.
If you notice that the stone moves from one side of your finger to another, we suggest adding half-moon sizing beads inside the band. It will decrease the ring by approximately a quarter of a size (- 1/4). They are also used to address issues like the swinging/spinning of a large diamond ring or larger knuckles.
Fingers can shrink or bloat for many reasons, many of them temporary, like cold weather, salt intake, pregnancy, or weight loss. We highly recommend limiting the frequency of sizing your ring, since every resizing negatively affects the strength of the metal.Your first re-sizing and is complimentary within the first six (6) weeks of delivery.

Care
Treat with Care
In caring for your jewellery, it’s important to understand the vulnerabilities of precious metals and stones. To carefully maintain your new piece, we recommend avoiding exposure to any impact, pressure, harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures. Metal, gemstones and even diamonds can crack or chip upon impact with the wrong material. Chemicals and some household substances can weaken metal or damage the colour, clarity or lustre of gemstones, even if not immediately apparent.
The most important factor in caring for your fine jewellery is understanding appropriate wear. As much as we want you to love and enjoy wearing your jewellery, it’s important to remove pieces when:
Showering, bathing and swimming
Prolonged submergence in water, particularly in hot temperatures, can negatively impact some stones. Pool chemicals can also degrade materials and cause further damage to gemstones.
Sleeping
It’s not recommended to sleep with any piece of jewellery that has a high profile (in the case of rings) as these can get caught and bent/warped. Low profile rings such as simple metal wedding bands and diamond eternity bands are okay to sleep in as they aren’t at risk of catching. Chains and statement earrings are at risk of tangling, stretching and warping so we advise that you take care if you choose to sleep in your jewellery.
Applying cosmetic products, lotions, soaps or perfumes
These can degrade materials and damage the colour, clarity or lustre of gemstones, either immediately or over time. Soaps and lotions also cause a build-up underneath stones that attracts dirt and can cause them to look cloudy or milky.
Exercising
Fine jewellery can be easily damaged through contact with weights or gym machinery/equipment, as well as via pressure applied during activities such as yoga and pilates. In some cases, sweat and oils from your skin can cause discolouration and skin reactions so we advise removal of pieces in advance.
Cleaning and gardening
Cleaning and household chores such as washing the dishes can expose your jewellery to soaps and chemicals (see notes above regarding soaps). Your jewellery can also be at risk of impact, and in the case of gardening and outdoor maintenance the piece is exposed to dirt, scratching and damaging impacts.
Doing any hands-on work, where your jewellery is exposed to chemicals or force
Depending on your professional life, you will need to carefully assess whether your piece should be worn during working hours. If in doubt about whether you should wear your piece in a specific situation, be safe and take it off. Adhering to these guidelines will assist in maximising the longevity of your piece.
Additional Care
In selecting a fine piece of jewellery for your engagement or wedding ring, you must be aware of the additional care and maintenance guidelines to ensure the longevity of your piece. Pieces are only guaranteed in the case where jewellery has been cared for in line with the provided care instructions. Fine pieces require additional care over the course of time. If you have any questions or concerns about your piece throughout its lifetime, please contact us and we will assist you in any way possible.
Checking
Diamond is the hardest natural material on earth, however these stones still require a certain level of care in order to ensure their longevity. Chipping, cracking, scratching and cleaving are all still possible if diamonds come under extreme force or sudden intense impact. Diamond pieces need meticulous care, and regular checking. Wear according to the above care instructions is imperative. Loose diamonds can damage the metal in settings, so we recommend professional checking of diamond solitaires every 6-12 months for tightness, which is a service we provide free of charge.
